Terms

These tools are provided for everyday low-stakes decisions, games, demonstrations, and learning.

Acceptable use

You may use the site for lawful personal, classroom, and casual game purposes. Do not use it to harm others, bypass a legal or platform requirement, interfere with the service, or present a result as independently audited when it is not.

No professional advice or high-stakes draw

Results are not medical, legal, financial, safety, or other professional advice. The site is not a certified lottery, gambling, giveaway, election, or legal drawing system. It provides no signed result, independent observer, immutable audit log, or dispute-resolution record.

Randomness claim

The implementation uses browser crypto.getRandomValues() and unbiased mappings described on the Randomness Method page. That is a cryptographically strong pseudo-random source under stated browser assumptions; it is not a claim of physical “true randomness.”

Availability and warranties

The service is provided as available without a guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, suitable for a particular purpose, or accepted by another person or authority. If secure randomness is unavailable, the tool is designed to stop rather than silently use a weaker source.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for deciding whether a random process is appropriate, agreeing on rules with other participants before a result, and keeping independent records where needed. Do not use a random result to replace consent, safety checks, or informed judgment.

Changes

The method identifier/version changes when outcome-source or mapping behavior changes. Material terms changes will be reflected by the effective date on this page. The published selection module always shows the code that is currently deployed, so a change to outcome behaviour is visible there as well.
